Athletics runs every Friday night at Barton Park.

Arrive by 5:45pm in order to warm up and meet your age group around the fence. A briefing will commence at 6:00pm before the age groups move to their first event.

Parent helpers are required to sign on and collect a volunteer vest at the information desk located at the entry to the field.

Qualifying athletes from the Zone Champsionships will progress to compete at the Region Championships. There are 8 regions throughout the state. Parramatta competes in Region 5, with North Rocks Carlingford, Ryde, Northern Suburbs, Cherrybrook, Manly Warringah, Ku-Ring-Gai, Northern Districts, Mosman and Hornsby.

LOCATION: Mingara Regional Athletics Centre (Mingara Dr, Tumbi Umbi NSW 2261)

ELIGIBILITY: Athletes in the age groups 8's through to 18's are eligible for this event via qualification at the zone championships.  8's athletes do not progress past the Region Championships.

Committee meetings are held at the Barton Park Clubhouse.
