OUR MEMBERSHIP PATHWAYS
Our programs support athletes at every stage — from playful introduction through to lifelong participation in athletics.

Tiny Tots (Ages 4-5)
Held on Friday evenings, our Tiny Tots program introduces 4–5 year olds to athletics through fun, play-based activities alongside a parent or carer.
Children develop fundamental movement skills — running, jumping and throwing — through games using ladders, hurdles, hoops, bean bags and parachutes. They also experience modified athletics activities such as short sprints and long jump.
Tiny Tots is non-competitive and focuses on coordination, confidence and enjoyment, providing a smooth transition into Little Athletics.
Little Athletics (Ages 5-10)
Little Athletics at Parramatta City provides children aged 5–10 years with a structured introduction to track and field.
Held on Friday evenings from September to March, athletes participate in a rotating program of running, jumping and throwing events within their age groups. The emphasis is on participation, skill development and personal improvement in a supportive, family-friendly setting.
Athletes are guided each week by Age Managers and volunteers, building strong movement foundations and a love of sport.
Junior Athletics (Ages 11-20)
Junior Athletics supports athletes aged 11–20 years as they continue developing their skills and exploring broader competition opportunities.
Athletes participate in regular club competition while accessing expanded pathways through the Little Athletics NSW and Athletics NSW partnership. At this stage, athletes may begin to specialise in preferred events and further refine their performance.
Our focus remains on long-term participation — whether progressing to higher levels of competition or continuing to enjoy athletics as part of the club community.
Seniors (20-29) & Masters (30+)
Athletics is a sport for life.
Our Seniors and Masters program welcomes athletes aged 20+ who wish to continue, return to or begin their athletics journey. Whether training for performance, competing regularly, or staying active for health and enjoyment, there is a place for you at Parramatta City Athletics.
Athletes have access to structured training and club-based competition, with opportunities available for those pursuing higher levels of performance. We proudly support both participation-focused athletes and those representing the club at State, National and international level.
Above all, our program fosters lifelong participation, connection and community.
